I remain eternally grateful to the University of York for transforming my life and enabling me to pursue my career - teaching Chemistry and later, becoming a Headteacher. I want to help others like me.

The family had a collection for our late Mum, Maisie, aged 97. Mum had Macular Degeneration and in her later years had to make adjustments to her lifestyle. My sister is currently having a course of injections for Wet MD. A very worthy charity.
